MTA Bus News from "RealFriendsandFamily.Org" !



            



Today' MTA Bus News !

      1) The MTA bus System is set up for the Minority type people, it's not geared up for the upper class "whites", since they know that upper class "whites", will never leave their cars, to ride amoung the lower working class people, so the MTA will always be the worst way to travel within the city.

      2) If you have taken the so call Metro Rapid (also known as the "Red Trash Can on Wheels"), you would Know that it is the worst bus line ever. It replaced the 320, 321, 322 and a few other bus lines, that started on wilshire/western, in which you at least got a seat, and they put this 720 that already comes full from downtown L.A.

      3) Who Came up with the 720 Metro Rapid Bus Idea never rode a bus in L.A. before, for one thing they ran the 720 line along the same line, as the underground Metro Red Line, which means that all the riders can get off the subway, at any spot before vermont blvd from either direction, and fill up the bus way back there, so they always come full, before it get to a very busy main stop like wilshire/vermont, wilshire/normandie, & wilshire/western, where by the way it happens to be all "Poor Whites", "Blacks", and a ton of "Mexicans".

      4) And that's not the half of it, but when the bus gets "Jammed Packed", the drivers drive even slower, as to punish the people more, on top of that. When the bus starts getting empty, then it speeds up and goes fastier. Now I heard from the driver, that they don't have a set schedule, but that they're instructed to go slow, not the same as when they had their promotional day, on how fast they are. Oh by the way, they lied to you about the light sensors they have on the bus, to keep the light green longer, they don't have it ! Now stop and think, if it really existed, don't you think the "Cops" or the "Ambulances", would have it first on their vechicles so that all the traffic would stop in all directions, so there wouldn't be an accident when they pass by.

      5) Now if the MTA was really smart, you figure that by now, they would have made a Bus Lanes, for buses only on the right side off wilshire blvd, starting from western blvd to Santa Monica California, for now even if it was only for the time being, until they build what ever silly system they have planned, it wouldn't take much the street is already there, and there's "No Parking" from 6am-10pm & 4pm-7pm already, which they can just make it "No Stopping" at all, all day long during bus hours 5am-midnite, the rest would only be, to paint the yellow lines and white words bus lane. Now then maybe you might get the rich "white" people, out of their chariots and on to a "Bus", if they really move fast, because if the bus, moves as fast as the regular traffic, then it's better to be in a car all to yourself.

      6) One Final Note: There really wasn't any more buses added to the 720 line, "Yes" there's New Buses, but all they did was replace the old ones, they had on the 320, 321, 322, and a few others, in order to create one new line 720 which looks like alot of buses, but it's really not, and to make the 720 really work, the MTA needs to train it,s bus drivers better, an put checkers on the buses, all this pumping the brakes, and sudden swaying with people being thrown around has to stop, and when they see people running towards the Bus, it doesn't mean shut the door in their face and hall ass, and the very worst that I have seen, is when the buses go flying by the "Veterans Hospital" in WLA, at 3:30 pm when the veterans get off of work, (5) half empty Metro Rapid Buses, kissing each other bumper, trying to get past that stop before 3:30 pm. ("Totally UnAmerican"), Especially since These are the Men and Women, who fought in past Wars for this Country.

      7) Pictures Coming Soon, Boy I'm glad I drive a Car, When I have time to get out of my Car, and get on the slow buses, maybe on my day off as to not lose to much time playing with the MTA Bus System. I'll do it for all of my Friends and Family, so you can be up to date, with all the latest information, if the MTA does something or not. By the way maybe all of us at : "RealFriendsandFamily.org", should start our own shuttle service, to help out our Friends and Family, if the MTA doesn't want to do it, By the way friends there will never be another drivers bus strike again, we have the money to put private buses out on the road, this next time around, they won't nail us again, we'll be "Ready" !

Hurry Pass the V.A Hospital, before the vet's get off "Work !



      P.S Note: On my Last Week Riding the Bus, Before Getting Back in my Car, I had an "Un-Believable" Experience. I Got to the Rapid Bus Stop in Westwood Heading East at 3:35pm (Friday Nov 16, 2001), There was about 45 people there waiting for a 720 Bus, and the Funny Part about it there was 2 (720 Buses Parked Around the Corner), I saw the MTA Supervisor # 10975 standing there writting down the Numbers of all the Buses passing the Stop, all of them Full, at 3:55pm I asked the Supervisor # 10975 when was the Buses around the Corner going to Start, He Answered "I Run this Bus Line and I'll Call them up When I want, and if you don't like Waiting take a Taxi, or better yet Get a Car.", I Replied "All I asked was what Time they start, and besides the Bus belongs to the MTA, not to you". and I Walked Away. Now Answer this isn't the MTA Trying to get People out of there Cars, and on to the Buses, Metro Red Line, & MetroLink.
            And then there's Supervisor # 10975 trying to get People to take Taxis and Use their Cars. Wow ! What a Conflict of Interest.

   P.S.S It's seem to me that alot of the MTA bus drivers, need more training in being more " consistence ", each driver does what they want, and they all say that it's their bus, I always thought that all the buses belong to the MTA, it seem to this reporter that the MTA don't have total control of their employees, Now i went out to test the buses this weekend to see if they had made any changes, but sure enough ( No changes have been made.), In fact i've heard supervisors telling the drivers to slow down, and then to top it off, On Saturday may 27,2002 at 10:55am at the corner of wilshire blvd & fairfax blvd, bus# 5515 heading east bound hit my right hand and the driver kept on going, the driver never stopped to see how i was, what happened is that i saw the bus coming and i was across the street, the light turned green so i ran across the street where the bus had just stopped, i was waving at the driver for him to see me which he did, the 2 people at the bus stop got on, and the driver quickly closed the door and started to leave, i then stepped out in front of the bus, and he started honking the horn and giving it more gas, he would have ran me over if i hadn't jumped out of the way, but as i jumped my right hand went up and the bus hit it, the driver kept on going not even taking a second look, i really wasn't hurt it was more like a "thump" hit, and the only real witness was in car at the light, anyways i feel the drivers need more training in customer service, these buses don't belong to them !!!!!!!!!!
