(by Franco)
So the coyote told everyone else to get in the truck and they all did as he said, Once in the truck, they drove for an hour, and they pulled up to a ranch where everyone was taken off the truck and hustled into the barn. Then everyone was givein food and drink, a sleeping bag and pillow, and they were then shown the bunk beds, where they would be sleeping for a couple days, until the heat had died off. "Fran's" mother and father didn't know that there wasn't any heat at all, but that the coyote had all that set up to get more money out of them. The coyote told everyone the next day, that it would cost them a little more money to pay their passage all the way to "San Antonio, Texas". From there, everyone can go their seperate way. Then the coyotes mentioned, that if their family couldn't pay the money, that those that did want to, could work on the farm for one week, and then they could be taken back, toward downtown "San Antonio, Texas". Mostly everyone wanted to work in the fields, on the farm picking fruits and vegetables. Some girls stayed behind to do the cleaning and cooking. And there was some girls that their family's did have more money, but they were too young to be out on the fields because of the state inspectors coming by at all different times and if they saw these girls working in the fields, they would get in trouble due to the child labor laws, that the United States set back in ( 1952 ). So the coyote and the other male illegal alien smugglers were taking these young girls, and having sex with them to pay, for their passage the rest of the way. They would also have sex, with some of the older women that didn't want to work in the fields. And since "Fran's" mom was pregnant with him, she felt that couldn't work in the fields, so she had sex with three of the guys, without her husband knowing. And to her, it didn't really matter since she was already pregnant no one would know. And as the days went by, the coyote told Fran's father that he had two seats available ont he next load of people heading to San Antonio, and that two days in the fields would cover their passage . "Fran's" father didn't suspect a thing that his wife had done, he just figured that the two and a half days he worked in the field, plus the work his wife did cooking and cleaning took care of their debt. So they got in the truck and headed to their final destination when they got to "San Antonio, Texas", they took a bus on their own to "Kennedy, Texas", where they were on the family member ranch and they both got right to work. They both were given a room to stay in and there meals a day, plus ( $10.00 ) daily, each for an eight hour work day, so together, they were in the money with ( $20.00 ) a day. They were only spending ( $5.00 ), and saving ( $15.00 ) daily. To them, that was a lot of money for back then. What "Fran's" parents did realize was... Suddenly "Fran" was awoken by the sound of a car horn. It was a security guard car, and the guy was telling "Fran" to get moving, not to be there. It seemed that "Fran" had fallen asleep while thinking of his life. It seemed that several hours had passed by. He was woken-up. "Fran" got up in a lot of pain from the beating, blood had seeped through the bandages and he struggled to get on his feet. He had already finished a bottle so he would go and buy another. So he headed back to the store and bought another bottle. The rain had started again, so he asked the store owner if he had some old plastic bags, that he didn't need. The store owner had "Fran" as a regular customer. He figured he would give him a couple of new bags. When "Fran" got them, he made a hole at the top to fit his head, and he put his blankets in the other bag, along with the bottles he bought. And then, when "Fran" was ready, he went back in the rain, and he walked all the way to the restaurant where he ate breakfast. At the backdoor there was a small roofed area where he didn't get wet, so he pulled out his blankets, and bottle and wrapped himself in a corner, and drank about one third of ,and then put the cap back on and set it down by the wall. Again, "Fran" started thinking about how he got to where he was now. He went back in thoughts to the stories about his family's experience which all led him to here in this alley. As he dosed off, he went back to where his parents worked on this ranch in "Kennedy, Texas". As he could remember his parents thought that they were making good money, here in the United States. But what they didn't realize, was that they were able to save money, only as long as they work on the farm. If they ever left, things would be different for at the time, they weren't paying rent, utilities, or food, which they received for free as an added bonus, while they worked on the ranch. But like all young parents, they thought they could live in the big city, San Antonio, and they could be rich. So they left the ranch after ( 3 ) years working. It was ( 1971 ), and at ( $15.00 ) per day, "Fran's" parents had saved ( $16,200.00 ), and for that time period, it was pretty good, but in no way enough to live a very good lifestyle forever. When they arrived in San Antonio, "Fran" was going on three years old and since he was born on the ranch by a mid-wife, he was looking around at all the building cars, and people. Through the eyes of a three year old never seeing this before, it was pretty amazing.
"Fran's" parents got right to work at looking for a place. They found a good one for ( $450.00 ) a month and they ahd to pay first month, last month and a security deposit so it costed them ( $1,200.00 ) to move in, and that left them ( $15,000 ). Then they went and bought furniture, a stove, refrigerator, and a washer and dryer. For everything, they spent ( $5,000 ) dollars, and that left them with ( $10,000 ). They turned on all the utilities and bought food. There went another ( $1,000 ) dollars, leaving them with ( $9,000 ). Now one more thing was needed: A Car, to get to and from work once they found one. The car cost ( $5,200.00 ), leaving ( $3,800.00 ) in savings. So "Fran's" father looked for work, but since he had no experience, no one would hire him. He kept looking, but to no aveil. He never thought to ask one of his country men, for assistance. Six months went by with no job, with food and rent, the ( $3,800.00 ) was almost gone, they had ( $420.00 ) left. In those six months "Fran's" parents had made friends with the people around around their apartment and in a small party that one of their neighbors had thrown, ( their neighbor was Mexican ), they were invited to the party, and his neighbor asked "Fran's" father what type of work did he do. "Fran's" father answered, "I'm not working, right now. I'm still looking for work." His neighbor told him that they were hiring everyday where he worked at a packaging plant. "Fran's" father admitted that he didn't have any experience, but the neighbor told him that he didn't need any experience to work there, all he needed to do was put ( 25 ) items in one regular sized box, or ( 20 ) of those regular size boxes into a big box and it goes down the line, the next person who makes sure ( 20 ) boxes are in there, closes the box, tapes it, and puts a shipping label on it. The job pays ( $3.25 ) per hour. "Fran's" father went the next day to see about the job, and his neighbor had already put in a good word for him. He got hired and by the third week, he got a paycheck and it was for ( $200.00 ), ( $40.00 ) had been deducted for fed tax, sa tax, ssi, di, and that was his pay every two weeks. His rent was dues, so he had to use the money he had, still, plus some of his check. Now he had ( $150.00 ) left in savings, but that did not last for long, since they had to buy food and pay utility bills, they were down to zero dollars. Two weeks later, "Fran's" father received his check, ( $200.00 ), he save it and then paid it to the landlord, owing him a ( $50.00 ) balance, by the next check of ( $200.00 ), he payed the ( $50.00 ) plus utility bills. By now, "Fran's" parent has regretted leaving the farm, but yet, they didn't want to return to it since they got a taste of the city life. On the farm, they had to use an outhouse to go to the bathroom, shower under the water tank, and always having to haul water from the well. And here in the city, everything was indoors, and with running water. Fran's mother made a decision to work, also. She applied at the same company as her husband and she was hired. Now by the next paycheck period, "Fran's" father got ( $200.00 ), and his mother got ( $85.00 ). Since she started at the halfway point, by the next pay period, he got ( $200.00 ), and she received ( $175.00 ). For some reason, she made less thanher husband, but to them, it was better than nothing. Now they had ( $660 ), and they paid the rent in full for that month and all their bills and food and still had managed to save ( $50.00 ) a month in savings. Now in a year, they saved ( $600.00 ), and they worked for six years utnil they company had shut down, and Fran's father heard that the company moved to California, and if they wanted work, the company would keep them on. They had saved ( $3,600.00 ) so far, and jobs weren't that good at the moment in Texas. So they decided to go to California. They asked their neighbor if they wanted to go also. They said yes, so they all headed to California, and "Fran" at the time was nine years old. Both families moved in to an apartment that had two bedrooms. Now they bough all their belongings on a big trailor that they took turns pulling with both vehicles and they got an apartment about ( 3 ) miles from where the company had moved to. Then they started working normally again. This time things were not as hard as before. The money they saved then lasted longer, since ( 4 ) people were now paying on the apartment and expenses. Things went pretty good for about a year, then the other family bought a house and moved out. They tried to get Fran's father to buy a house instead of paying the ( $625.00 ) for the apartment they were in now, but they chose to stay there. After a while, they had to move down to a cheaper apartment, since it seemed that they were working, just for the place they lived in. Now "Fran's" parents understood, that when they lived in Mexico, they worked for pesos, but they spent pesos, yet here, in the United States, they worked for dollars, and they spent dollars. Somehow they never seemed to really program, the reason that they other family managed to buy a house was that his friend was supervisor of the graveyard shift and he seemed to make ( $2.00 ), and hour more than his "Fran's" father made. If "Fran's" parents would have sent money to their family in Mexico, they could have worked that money over there by buying some property and building them a house. At that same time if only the sent ( 50 ) American dollars, it would be ( 1000 ) Mexican pesos, since it was ( 20 ) pesos to the dollar. They could have built a nice size house within two years, and if they would have continued to do this, they could have built a business or two with an additonal five years.
But instead, they continued the American Dream, but it didn't seem to be happening, since now they had to move into a special program in government housing, which was only ( $375.00 ) a month for a two bedroom apartment which would be good for the next eight years at the same rent dollar figure. With this "Fran's" parents figured they would save money and some day buy a house, but it wasn't that easy. With every thing that came cheap came other problems. The biggest problem was now where "Fran" would attend school, and where they would shop, and with whom "Fran" would play with. "Fran" had no problems in that department, since he seemed to get along with people quite well, and within a couple of months, he started hanging out with a local group of guys, and girls from the neighborhood. Two years had gone by and "Fran's" parents were splitting up, and getting a divorce. His dad had met a younger girl at work, and they had made plans to go back to Texas, and live their lives, but it was a mistake for "Fran's" dad to have done that, since that year that he left the girl he left with had a boyfriend in San Antonio that "Fran's" dad didn't know about and two months later he got news that his dad had met him and that he was shot dead at his home. "Fran's" father was dead and he would never see his again. But "Fran" didn't feel guilty, or sad since he knew his dad had left. Then a year later, "Fran's" mom got married again and his new stepfather was such "dick weed". "Fran" and him didn't realy get along, but whenever he was home, "Fran" would go outside to hang out with the guys, and the homegirls in the hood. "Fran" was twelve years old now, and he had an ambition to be an astronaut when he was growing up and he figured if he couldn't make it as an astronaut, eh would go for being a fireman. So that was his goal to try to achieve when he grew up. Now that his mother was married again, she started to have kids with her new husband and "Fran's" mom had her second child, and as the child was growing up, "Fran" had to babysit his sister while they went grocery shopping and small one hour chores. As their parents left for longer time periods, they would get teh sixteen year old girl from next door to babysit. It's not that "Fran" couldn't handle it, but for the fact that her parents were just next door in case something big happened, it would be taken care of by the girl and by the girl's parents. And at the beginning, "Fran" was upselt about the girl next door being the babysitter... "Fran" woke up at the sound of the car door closing. It was the restaurant owner, parking in the parking spot to the rear of his restaurant. He saw "Fran". "Fran" got up, and he started to put everything in his bag. As "Fran's" friend neared, he saw "Fran's" face, and saw that he was all beaten up, and he asked what happened to "Fran". "Fran" told him about what the police did, which made the restaurant owner really mad. he asked "Fran" if there was anything he could do but "Fran" said no, not right now. he also asked "Fran" why didn't he sleep at the mission, and "Fran" told him that the old mission had already helped him for ( 90 ) days, and right now it was someone else's turn, and that it was ok for him to sleep outside, since it wasn't really cold. "Fran" got his breakfast, then put salt and pepper on his food, then put the shakers on top of the napkin holder, to make hiimself some more room on the table, mainly because he liked a lot of room. In the mean time, the restaurant owner was on the phone talking to someone, and when he hung up, he came over to "Fran" and gave him a small piece of paper, with an address. And he told "Fran" that it was a friend of his, who had a small room that can be turned into a place for him to stay. Not much, but it'll fit a bed, a small table and chair, and maybe a tv. It had a door to the outside, and about the only thing would be to shower outside with the water hose, not much, but it was a start. "Fran" told him that it was a lot better than nothing. He continued to eat and then left.
When he got to the address, which the note said to knock on the back door. The man answered and showed "Fran" the small 10x10 maintenance room, which needed work and cleaning. The man got one of his employees to help "Fran" to clean, and paint the small room. Once finished, "Fran" put all his things on the floor and went to sleep from being so tired. he didn't think about anything after sleeping for two hours. he went to the restaurant for lunch and his friend had another piece of paper. It was an address to a small thrift store. Not much, not too big at all, but the little old lady and her daughter, did pretty good considering that a mini-mall, that just opened up next door which slowed down a lot of their sales. With this, they still gave "Fran" a foldaway bed, a chair, a small table, and a ( 13" inch black and white TV ). And "Fran" took one item at a time back to his small room. The bed with mattress had rollers, and he put his chair on it and rolled it home first. Then he went and got the tv, but when he went back for the table, it started raining really hard and it didn't seem to look like it would let up soon. The lady gave Fran the table and some clothes, and blankets in a plastic bag and "Fran" headed back to his little place. he was soaken wet by the time he got home. He then set up his bed, and dried off the table, and to his amazement, there was an extension cord put there by the owner of the small hotel so "Fran" headed out to the place where he made change from all passerby, and as "Fran" stood there asking for loose change, little did he notice that his pockets were a little heavier than usual. Maybe it could have been becuase he was in the rain and he was still soaken wet so his clothes felt heavier. That's what it was. So by night time, he went to the store to buy a larger bottle and he headed back to his place. he got out of his wet clothes and got naked. He then put the clothes out on the window guard ,so his clothes can wash all night. "Fran" was outside doing this butt-naked, but no one could see him since he was in the alley. he then went back in and dried off with a t-shirt that he had gotten from the old lady at the thrift store. he then turned on the tv an dpulled open his bag of dinner-lunch that his friend at the restaurant had give in him. He started eating, the rain kept coming down like cats and dogs. At times, "Fran" opened the door to see the rain. Then he settled down about toget ready to sleep in a bed finally after a good long time. It was cold but somehow, not too cold. "Fran" grabbed his bottle and got under the blanket, and took drinks off his bottle until he got ( 3/4 ) of the way finished when he finally went to sleep thinking of his childhood life while the tv stayed on. He remembered the babysitter that took over his responsibilities, for taking care of his sister. Mainly, his biggest problem was that the girl, now had to take care of him too, which was not good for him, since she spent a lot of time doing all the things he wanted. And with he mother, he hardly ever listened and now his mom told him to listen to her or else that wasn't very good. But time went on and "Fran" started to pay more attention to the babysitter. After a while, it wasn't too bad. In fact, "Fran" started to get used to being told what to do by the babysitter. Then, on one day, the babysitter told "Fran" that it was time to take a shower and get ready for bed. And his parents had gone out for the evening and they would return back at ( 11 pm ). It was ( 9 pm ), and "Fran's" babysitter was asleep. "Fran" figured he would take a shower like he was told and then he could watch tv for a while, then go to sleep. As "Fran" was showering, he heard someone enter the bathroom, and when "Fran" looked out of the shower curtain, he saw the babysitter completely naked. And "Fran" was surprised, and looking really hard at the same time. Then he asked her what happened. She then responded that she wanted to take a shower, too, and if he did her back, she would do his. "Fran" said, O.K, and the babysitter then went wild on him and shampooed his hair, put soap all over his body. She even soaped up his penis and made "Fran" get a hard on the way he did at the moment she gave it a couple long even strokes back and forth. It felt pretty good, but she stopped and told "Fran" to soap her all over and he did. he shampooed her hair and then put soap on her back, then on her front side jjust the way she asked him to. and when he did her breasts, "Fran" noticed that she liked it a lot, then she told him to put soap on her private area, he did. And the babysitter started moving around quite a bit. "Fran" really enjoyed taking a shower with the babysitter. Little did he know that this was just a teaser, and that there was a whole lot more to come. But for the moment, teh babysitter asked "Fran" not to tell anyone, about them both taking a shower together. "Fran" said O.K, that he wouldn't tell anyone, and from that day on, fell in love with his babysitter. And he always wanted to be around her. He did everything she said, and within a few times of taking showers, it became more physical. The girl showed "Fran" where this penis was supposed to go and when "Fran" saw his penis then disappeared, he panicked and pulled it out. The girl told him to calm down, and to look at his penis to see it was all there. "Fran" did and saw nothing was missing, so he went back in, and pulled it out again, to see if it was any shorter. The girl was really enjoying it, knowing "Fran" was a virgin, and was just learning. After a while of going in a out, "Fran" had a feeling to "pee", so he told the babysitter he had to go to the bathroom, and the babysitter told him to go ahead, and do it inside of her. he said he didn't want to, but the girl held him there, and moved around alot, until "Fran" did what what he had to do. It was great. The most excellent experience in his entire life up until then. Now for sure "Fran" was in love with her. And as time went by, "Fran" learned about going down on her an dto let her suck on him. All these things went really good, until the girl next door had to move to the city down the state. So then "Fran" had to find someone new to play with, in the same way he and the babysitter did. he finally stayed with this one young girl named, "Cheryl". And together, "Fran" and "Cheryl" were doing everything, that he had learned from the babysitter. She was his girlfriend, and she was two years younger than him. he then started thinking of the fun they had, since the first day they met, and there was one day, in particular that he had remembered, that was really the best time for him, and "Cheryl" had together. he could still remember, kissing her all over her body, working his way down to her pussy......when he woke up suddenly, with a big hard on, and he was surprised that it occured, on top of the fact that it was morning. He then went to the table, and counted the change he had made from last night. He came out with ( $26.00 ) "Hmmmmmm," he thought he already spent ( $8.99 ) for his bottle, so he had made ( $35.00 ) last night. Wow!.... That was good, "Fran" figured it was all the people, that gave him money, they gave him a little more than usual. He felt good that people really cared, and "Fran" thought some day, if he ever makes any kind of money, he'll help people as they need it Too.
This morning he woke up feeling better, regardless of the beating that happened a couple of days ago. He walked over to the restaurant, and found that he was early, so he took a walk around the block and as he got to the end of the second block, he was stopped by a cop car. The officer got out of the car and the officers approached "Fran". It was the same cop that beat him up, and they stopped and told him that he better think twice, about going on with the complaint he filed. "Fran" told him, that both of them didn't deserve to be police officers. Mainly due to the fact that they were always beating up, and hurting innocent people. And that in trying to catch the bad guys, all type of innocent people get hurt, or killed just so they can get recognition, from the people around them as heroes, and brave men when in reality, they are nothing more than regular men, trying to be God over all the people. The officer threw "Fran" on the ground, and kicked hiim and told him to shut up, but "Fran" continued, "You guys are just regular men, who bleed like I do, and eat like i do, and put ou pants on like I do (one leg at a time), and you'll never be anything more than that". And the cop told "Fran" to shut up again and to remember, "people of the street have disappeared from the streets, never to be heard from again, so you better not go on with that complaint, or we'll find you". "Fran" yelled at them, "You don't scare me, and if more people stood up to you guys, you wouldn't get away with half, the things you guys get away with". But the cops didn't pay "Fran" anymore attention, and they left. "Fran" got up, and saw people standing there looking at him. He told them everything was O.K. He got about ( 2 ) more blocks away, and "Fran" ran into a homeless family. The lady's name was "Ruth", and her three kids and he asked them how old they were, and "Ruth" answered a little hungry and cold, but over all O.K! "Fran" gave "Ruth" ( $10.00 ) in change, and told her he'll be by once a day to give her some more. Then he left went back and ate the restaurant. After that, he went to his regular place to ask for money, and then he took a walk in a different direction. He came upon an old man named "Gilbert", who was pushing around an old shopping cart, and "Fran" had a nice talk with "Gilbert". In the shopping cart, "Gilbert" had it full of bottles, cans and plastic bottles, and "Gilbert" told "Fran" all he needed to know about recycling, and where "Fran" could go to get rid of what he finds. he also told "Fran" the places to look for to get aluminum cans, plastic bottles, and bottles. "Fran" figured that it would be cool to do that in between the time of breakfast and lunch, then he could start to make money, and save to be able to some day get back into, the main stream of the work force. Then "Gilbert" told "Fran" if he had a place to stay, "Fran" told "Gilbert", yes, and "Gilbert" told him that if he ever needed a place, to just go to ( 7th ) and Broadway, that's right there was an outreach program, that would find him a place to stay. "Fran" asked him, where he could get a shopping cart.
