The firing started but ended really fast, with the remaining two security team members dead, and four more of the MOG people. So far it seems that we lost ( 12 ) crew members and they lost ( 19 ), and they had ( 11 ) more left, and those came running out of the cargo hold, on to the rest of the ship. They ran down the hallway, and the defense screen started firing at them, killing ( 6 ) more MOG people. The others took cover, and the firing stopped due to the fact that the other security team members arrived, and yelled out with the language translator, "Give a translation". "Kappa man" said, "Put your weapons down, and step on out into the open". The MOG man answered, "We will not drop our weapons, we will fight to the death". "Kappa man" replied, "You will gain nothing by just letting yourself be killed. We destroyed the ships you came from, we can set you free on this planet or the next one, if you wish, you don't have to die". The MOG man answered, "If we step out into the open, you will kill us. That's why we'd rather fight until the end, and go out fighting rather than live under your way of life, your laws, or your rules". Then the firing started again, and it went on for about an hour. Our security team lost ( 6 ) more security members, and the MOG people lost one, and the firing stopped. "Kappa man", using reverse psychology, said: "What are your terms for us to surrender ?", The MOG man replied, "You Umans are a fighting people. I don't see you as a weak species. Why do you want to surrender, if this is your ship ?", "Kappa man" answered, "Because you can't win. Besides if we Umans get killed the ship will defend itself, and kill all of you. So it's good that we are talking. We really mean it when we say you won't be killed or harmed", The MOG man answered. "We'll drop our weapons and we'll come out", and they did. Then "Kappa man" called the captain on the intercom, "Captain, it's over. The situation is secure". The captain answered, "Put them in the brig until we can figure out how to handle this". "Kappa man" replied, "Sir, we don't have a brig, this is an exploration ship; we weren't prepared to take prisoners". "Oh, put them in the cargo hold for the mean time". So "Kappa man" did what the captain said, and the MOG people were put in the cargo hold, and two guards stood watch on the outside. Then most of the crew, after having a memorial service on the planet, went back to work on the marker and talked with the MOG man. They agreed to work along side of us as part of the regular crew. Two of them stayed on board, and two went to the surface to help work on the marker. With less crew, it seems that by the time the ship is ready to go home, there wouldn't be anyone left to go home with it. So ( 30 ) days went by and it was time to go to the next planet. The captain made an announcement, "This is to inform the crew that tonight we leave this planet. As you well know, all of us won't be able to return back home, due to the fact that only ( 10 ) people can go back to our Home Planet. It'll take us one year to go home, and one year to get back here with a bigger ship, fresh supplies, and new settlers. I need some of you to stay here. It would be better if it were those of you, who do not have any one back home waiting for you. Now pick among you those that wish to stay here, and those who can stay on the next planet. The same applies to the ones who stay on the next planet. On both planets, you'll have enough provisions to last you for years, there's water and with the trees of fruits and vegetables, along with what's left behind, you should be "OK". Now for those staying here, there's another ( 10% ) left to do on the marker, and tagger next time don't change the design on the marker. It’s not funny putting a face on this one. Also, one last thing, there are meteors heading in this direction, very large ones, but we should be able to destroy them in ( 39 ) years, when they enter this solar system. Now you'll be able to communicate between the ( 2 ) planets. But we don't have anything that's small, and that can communicate with the home planet. Now everyone decide who stays here, who stays over there, and who goes home. Only ten people can go home. Now this is just my suggestion. The baby and the mother, should be two of the people going home, that's all". "Sir", a voice replied, "Teresa", the baby and I, want to stay on the new planet, as the first family to live on the New World". "So be it", the Captain said, "Let's get under way !, 20 people decided to stay on the planet, and the rest headed for the other new planet. The ones that stayed there worked on the marker, set up their living quarters, as well as their low signal communications device, to contact the ship and other planets close by. They also planted trees and vegetables, that they would need in order to live there for a year.

    They were only two days from arriving to the ( 3rd ) Planet, so they started to get ready to land on this new planet. From the readings, this planet was better than the one they had just left. It had a very large land mass, surrounded by water with ice at each pole. This was due to the lack of heat reaching the poles and the water freezing. The planet that they had just left was ( 95% ) land mass, and ( 5% ) water. This planet is ( 70% ) water, and ( 30% ) land mass, but the ( 30% ) land mass is in one location. Also, by the readings, there are Indigenous lifeforms, and there is volcanic activity normally found in a new forming planets, that is the center core cooling down. As things were moving along in preparation for the landing, some thing new had happened on board ship. "Baby Teresa" was crawling around the kitchen, where the rocks had sealed up the damaged part of the wall, and there were ( 3 ) rocks moving around, as "Teresa" crawled around them. These rocks were not aggressive at all, and they did not move around that fast. I guess it's because of their birth, in an oxygen-rich environment. As for the MOG people, two of them stayed on the ( 4th ) Planet. The ship arrived at the ( 3rd ) Planet and started to orbit the planet. They noticed a good spot where to land. It showed mountains, a flat valley, and trees with water passing by the valleys. In the cleared area to the north, was an area of just dirt and flat lands. The Captain said to the crew: "Well, people, we are here, and down there is a planet of just animal lifeforms. There's no sign of any intelligent life, nor is there any civilizations that exist. The gravitational pull is equal to our home planet. The oxygen levels are nearly the same as back home. There's water and vegetation down there, and most of it may be eatable, best of all, the temperature is the same as that at home. All that I can say is this looks like paradise, compared to what is now going on back home, but home is where our hearts are, regardless of how bad things become. Also, one last item, there shall be the same laws here, as those that apply on our home planet, especially, no cloning. That is punishable by death. So without further delay, those going to the planet board-up". Everyone started clapping, as they boarded the landing craft. ( 15 ) people boarded, and headed down slowly, until they reached the surface. The landing legs touched down, and the atmosphere test was done. Everything tested out "OK", The landing craft ramp went down, and ( 15 ) people walked off and touched the ground of the New World. Among them were the mother, father and "baby Teresa", ( 2 ) MOG people, and three rocks crept out, as the other people walked a little ways away to set up camp. (The rocks weren't part of the ( 15 ) crew member count.) They started setting up camp. It was about noon time then, so they started up campfires, as well as sleeping areas. Suddenly, a loud roar was heard in the distance, and everyone ran to the landing craft. Then they saw the largest creature, about ( 100 ) feet tall, running after a lot of little creatures, about ( 15 ) feet tall with long legs. One could feel the ground and landing craft vibrate as they ran through, and the big one was eating the little creatures. "What was that ?", "Teresa's mother" asked. "It seems to be one of the creature lifeforms", one person replied, "but that was HUGE !", "Will it try to eat us ?", "I don't think so. I noticed the big creature can barely reach down to ten feet with his mouth, and we're only six feet tall. I don't think he'll be able to see us, let alone able to grab us. But I do suggest that you all stay out of its way, and hide if it comes in your direction. Another thing we don't know which of the animals are dangerous, so be careful with all of them", "Kappa man" answered. Then everyone went back down to the camp area, and continued setting up the early warning system, about ( 1,000 ) yards around so they wouldn't get caught by surprise. This system would warn them of any creature coming close to camp, no matter how small it might be. So everyone sat near the fire and started to eat. They now felt safe, and "Kappa man" yelled out to the crew members in the distance, to come and eat. Then he saw one crew member standing by himself, who was setting up the communication antenna, so that they could talk with the mother ship, and (Colony-1) on the ( 4th ) planet. "Kappa man" yelled out to him, "Hey, time to eat", and the crew member answered, "OK, I'm coming". So "Kappa man turned around, and started walking with the sum at his back, and in a second, he saw a shadow pass in front of him. He turned around quickly, but the crew member was not there. "Kappa man" looked in every direction very quickly, and saw nothing. He then yelled out, "Man missing, Man missing". Everyone came running, they all dropped everything they were doing. "What happened ?, "Kappa man", one of the MOG men asked through his translator. "It's "Cougar", one second he was there, and then in a blink of an eye he was gone. What happened and how, I don't know. The early warning system didn't even sound. You and you, go check the early warning system to see if it detected something, and if it works well. The rest of us will go out and search. Two of you go this way, and two of you go that way, while I and you and you will go the other way. The rest go back to the landing craft and keep a look out. Also, send a report to the Captain". They started walking and stepped out past the early warning system. "Kappa man" communicated to the other two search teams, "Activate your wrist sensors, and be careful. Report back any useful information". All teams went like ( 2,000 ) yards out, and a communication came over their communicator: "Kappa man, this is ( Team-2 ), over". "Kappa man" answered, "Go ahead and report". "We found a trail of blood in our search. You might want to head in this direction, over.", "We're on our way", "Kappa man" replied. As ( Team-3 ) headed in the direction of ( Team-2 ), ( Team-2 ) kept following the drops of blood on the ground, and leaves of the bushes that they passed by. They approached a clearing next to a cliff, and they saw groups of large creatures by the river drinking water, and eating leaves of trees. When Team Three caught up with ( Team-2 ), they looked around, and saw that they were at the edge of a cliff, about ( 100 ) feet high, and the blood trail ended there. One search team member asked "Kappa man", "The blood trail ends at the edge this cliff, how could that be ?", "Kappa man" looked around and answered, "I guess what got him can fly, and it's big enough to carry something weighing ( 200 ) pounds. Look up along the cliffs, and mountain edges, and tree tops". Everyone looked around with view finders, and a person yelled out, "Over here, "Kappa man". It's "Konan", right there on the edge and it doesn't look pretty". "I see it, over. That is one large flying animal". Everyone stayed looking, as the mother bird tore off pieces of flesh, to give to its young. At the same time they noticed three of the large creatures, they had seen earlier at the edge of the tree line, they watched a group of the large tree eating creatures, and within a split second, one of the creatures at the tree line ran into the group, and chased them around until suddenly, one of them headed back towards the spot where the other two were waiting. Then the two jumped on the large creature, and brought it down to the ground, and they started eating it alive. The third creature came up to it, and tore off a large chunk, while the injured animal was still trying to get away. But they just kept eating chunk after chunk until it died. All the other creatures by the river just stood there watching. "Kappa man" said, "Let's go back and secure the camp better. We'll make sure to cover for air creatures, in the early warning system so nothing can come in from the top".

    They started walking back, and Kappa man radioed in a report to camp, to set it up to include air space, and for them to set up a memorial service on behalf of Konan, and for them to give a report to the Captain. Now the Captain had reviewed all the reports after the memorial service, and he made a speech to the crew. "We are deeply saddened by what has happened to our crew members, on our journey to this moment in time. It seems to me that this is a more hostile planet, and the creatures here are larger and more dangerous. I feel that the marker should be started as soon as possible, and it shall be made bigger than the markers normally made, due to the size of these creatures, and everyone shall stay by the marker, and wait for us to return. Now today we will claim this planet, in the name of our home planet Tarth, and since this is an exploration ship, we will take the first letter "E", and put it in front, and drop the "T", and we'll name this planet Earth. Now those working on the marker get ready, put on your back pack levitating suits, and get started. Make it about ( 10 ) miles north. You will also plant food and dig for water there, so you don't have to come back to the wooded area with these creatures. We'll be leaving in ( 30 ) days. I want to leave here knowing that you are safe. You all know what to do, so let's do it. Communication Officer, send a message back to Home planet. Let them know we are at the new planet, and we named it "Earth". Give them all our reports; send it on the "Oiresil Emergency Channel", that way they'll receive it within ( 30 ) minutes. We can only use that three times, because it uses a lot of the ship's stored power, and it takes ( 25 ) days to restore it. While we're building the marker, we can let the power in the ship restore itself. So let's get to it". So the marker was being worked on and the message sent back to Home Planet. Some people stayed in the camp area, to gather food and water to take to the marker for storing, and using while they worked. Among the people that stayed at the camp, were "Teresa" and her mother, and a couple of the other female crew members, as well as three men from the Security squad to keep the area secure. One of the females at the camp got on the radio to communicate with the ( 4th ) Planet to see how they were doing. Things were going good there, they said, and the marker was completed, so they would be "OK", until they were picked up in a year. Also, that during their exploring of the planet, they had seen all kinds of new creatures to study. As they continued to talk, she could see Teresa, in the area to the right of her, playing with the rocks that were following her everywhere. They were moving faster than before, and she saw "Teresa" trying to walk and fall, crawl, walk and fall. She turned back to the communication device, and continued her conversation with the ( 4th ) Planet. Then she looked back at "Teresa", and saw a bunch of the little creatures next to "Teresa", but they weren't attacking her. They seemed to be communicating with her, just the way she communicates with her rocks. She walked up slowly to Teresa’s mother to tell her what was going on, slowly so as not to scare the creatures. She noticed all the creatures were sitting down by "Teresa", but she felt there was no danger to "Teresa". She told Teresa's mom, "I don't want you to panic, for "Teresa" doesn't seem to be in any danger, but the creatures are communicating with her. I don’t know why the early warning system didn't go "On". Teresa's mom looked a little shocked at what she was seeing. There were at least ( 15 ) creatures next to her baby, and for a moment she felt a little worried about Teresa’s safety. She noticed that when one of the creatures would push its weight on her, "Teresa's" rocks would jump at the creature, and give it a good set of hard thumps. The creature would then back off. Not only that, in some cases "Teresa" would hit one of the creatures, with her hand and it would back off. It was almost as if they were playing, so she left to return back to work, but yet keeping an eye on her baby. She told the crew member, "The early warning system probably didn't go "off", because the creatures are only three feet tall, and some of them look like they are babies themselves". The girls went back to what they were doing before this happened. In the mean time, the Home Planet received the message about their journey and the new planet. One of the men came running to one of the elders and said, "Elder Sir, we have received a (Oiresil Message) from the direction of the new galaxy. They say they are Exploration-5". "Exploration-5", the elder replied, "from all our reports for the past ( 50 ) years, it was understood that none of our exploration ships survived. I don't believe that it is possible. It's been ( 50 ) years, and not one word as to what happened to them, and now this". "Sir, if I may", the man replied to the Elder, "It seems that the New Galaxy is farther than we expected, and the message is just getting to us. As you well know, our communication Aray took ( 30 ) years to get back on line, and their ship was under attack ( 50 ) years ago, their communication Aray may have been damaged, and so it took the message this long to get here". The Elder replied, "Yes, but the last message intercepted was from our previous enemy, and it said in their message to their home planet, "Enemy ship encountered, we are at battle stations. The enemy ship has extreme damage. Two of our ships are moving in from the left to finish them off. We have three ships with slight damage. No other enemy ships are on this side of the shock wave. We also want to report that there seems to be another.....", Then silence. Their transmission ended suddenly, and yet one of the things they said, was that our ship was extremely damaged, and it was going to be destroyed. Now ( 50 ) years later we receive this message". The man replied, "Sir, let's just say they did survive and made it to the new planet. It might have gotten here late due to the curved time, that they mentioned in their last report ( 50 ) years ago". "I want to hear the message myself", the Elder said. So they took a ride down to communication center and listened to the message: "This is Exploration-5", sending the following report to our home planet. We have made it to the new galaxy. The solar system here has the ability to sustain life just as our home planet. There are two planets that can be used to colonize -- the ( 4th ) Planet and the ( 3rd ) Planet. The ( 3rd ) Planet is better. We named it "Earth" to be like Home "Tarth". There are huge creatures on Earth, but we have learned to avoid them. Our ship is ( 90% ) operational and we are heading back in ( 15 ) days. We started with a crew of ( 90 ), and due to circumstances there are only ( 50 ) left. Yet the ship is able to take back only (10) crew members, due to our supplies and life support. We are leaving ( 20 ) crew members on the ( 4th ) Planet, and ( 20 ) crew members on Earth, just in case we don't make it back. Also, if you wish to send a colony ship, or a supply ship in this direction to resupply our crew members, we informed them that we would return in two years. But if you send ships here, they'll get here in a year. That should make our people surprised and happy at the same time. Also, we have an ( 87% ) cargo hold of moltebytes, to take back to our home planet to run our ships. We found some asteroids full of moltebytes to be mined. The coordinates are ( 67º mike 7 by 18º delta 6 ). Be careful not to land on Asteroid with the whole ship. The miners should Zapp down, and stay in the caves mining. They shouldn't go outside the caves, than Zapp them back up, and then Zapp up the moltebyte. Also, there's an intelligent lifeform at two coordinates. We communicated with one species at ( 51º mike 2 by 16º delta 4 ). I don't think they want to fight us anymore. They'll welcome you to talk now. Their name is MOG people. We have ( 4 ) MOG people amoung our crew, with two on each planet. Also at coordinate ( 46º mike 9 by 15º delta 9 ). In the asteroid belt starts their space. We don't know what they look like; we only had audio with them, but yet they helped us. We'll be leaving this planet now. Hope to see you soon. End message, End Transmission, Over and Out".

    "That sounds like one of our older expedition space ships", the Elder said. He also told the man, "Get the council together, and get us every document file record transcript data, that we have on all our expedition ships that left ( 50 ) years ago. Maybe more ships made it through. Now, Go". The man ran out the door. He went across the courtyard to the transit station. Now the Home Planet at that point in time, was what our future will be like in Earth's future of ( 2280 ), where robots take care of ( 90% ) of the work, and automatic food dispensers, have your food ready according to your likes and dislikes. To the Home Planet this type of life style, was like living in the cave days, and this was due to the shock wave, and the war with the neighboring planet. So the man got in a "Hover Bus", that would have him over to the data building in ten minutes, and to him that was very slow. They used to have teleport doors, and it worked like a wall-size television. You put it on the channel you programmed on the computer, for example, if you want to go to work you change the channel to work, and the screen shows the reception desk at work. Then you walk through, and you're there. If you want to go to the park, you change the channel to park, and you walk through. Now that was fast, but to them that was the good old days. For right now he had to go the conventional way, by using the Hover bus that takes ten minutes. Well the data building is ( 4,602 ) miles away. Now I would consider that super fast, but to them it's slow. He arrived at the data building and went to the senior officer. He then told the senior officer, that the elders and the council, wanted all the information data, and taped message records, on all expedition ships that left our Home Planet ( 50 ) years ago, and that they wanted the personnel records of everyone on board the "Exploration-5". The senior officer told him to wait a few minutes, and then the senior officer got on the phone and was talking to someone, for that person to send the courier to the ( 5th ) floor, ( Room 25 ). The senior said "OK". He then went to the courier and told him to go to ( Room 25 ), on the ( 5th ) floor. The man proceeded to the people lift, stepped off on the ( 5th ) floor and walked in to ( Room 25 ). Then a shadow image appeared thru the glass door, showing the courier being killed. Little did the elders, and the council know that their neighboring enemy, had some agents planted in their planet government, to keep all the people on the planet. At this time plans were being made to terminate all the people of their planet, with a massive chemical attack to be carried out in two more years, and if there was hope of there being a new planet to colonize, a mass number of ships and people would leave to the new world, and that would throw a wrench into their plans. So they made a clone of the courier, and sent him back with false documents, false records, and false data made up just for the purpose of confusing them, for the next few years until they can put their plan together so it would work. As for killing the courier, instead of just giving him the information, it was very simple, they had been trying to get near the elders and the council for years, and now they had a perfect way to keep in touch with someone on the inside. The courier took off to the council building, and reported to the elders: "Here's all the information we asked for. Do I put it here or in the council room, Sir", the courier asked ?, "Right here is fine", the elder answered. "Also, get the department of exploration to get over here right now. Tell them I want to talk to them this instant". "Yes, Sir", the courier replied. Now the cloned courier had to call back to his commander, to receive new instructions due to the fact that the scientist from the exploration department, could not be cloned yet, and programmed in an instant. That takes at least ( 5 ) hours from beginning to end. Everyone knows that the exploration department, would send someone in a split second if the elder calls. He is the man that holds all of the people on the planet. He can decide if you live or die in a moment, so no one is going to tell the elder, that they'll be there, in three or four hours. So the courier received orders from his commander, to just do everything that is asked of him, that no one will be cloned until something major happens to change the plans. For right now let things happen as they do, but to keep him informed. The courier then called the exploration department, and told them the elder wanted to see them. The person in charge sent someone over right away. There was a knock on the door and the elder called out, "Enter". The scientist entered and walked to the elder present: "Sir, you called to see me", the scientist said. "Yes, I did", the elder answered. "Have a seat. By the way, I'm sure you've heard all about the "Exploration-5" message we received. You probably heard it before we did. One moment". The elder got on the phone, and asked the girl at the desk to send the council members in. "As I was saying", the elder continued, "we now have good news, there are other lifeforms out there and new planets to colonize. As you know, we always assumed that we were alone in the universe. Ahhh council senior, have a seat. As I was saying, now with this news we want to send out another expedition, to verify the news of a planet called "Earth", and colonize there. Our Sun is dying, and our planet has not been able to get back to normal, since the shock wave. What we need you to do, is to put about four ships at each end of a cargo transport ship, and to modify it to carry food supplies, cargo, and to reconstruct it, to take half a million people with you to the new world. Does that sound about right as to what we talked about, counsel senior ?", The counsel senior said, "That's correct, and we would like you and your team, to start right away and have them on their way in six months. We're expecting another attack from our neighboring planet, and we would like you to be at the new planet by then. That's why we want you to put ( 4 ) of our Exploration type ships, to an already built cargo ship, and all that's needed is the mounting frame at each end. Just take out the forward half, and set it up for ( 500,000 ) of our people, and leave as soon as possible". The scientist said, "If we do everything you said, we can be underway in three and one-half months, four months tops, if we work ( 24 ) hours a day. Also, with the ( 4 ) "Zenitram Propulsion System", and the cargo ship ( 6 ) "Zenitram Propulsion System", we should get to the planet Earth in six months with those engines. We can have all ( 10 ) engines at full speed, and shut down ( 2 ) engines for ( 12 ) hours, and alternate them throughout the trip. We'll be there in six months, not in one year. We'll get started right away. "So the scientist left the elder's office, and went down the hall. The courier met him and asked if he could help with what was going on. The scientist asked, "Do you know what's going on ?", The courier answered, "I know it has to do with the message received from the "Exploration-5" ship, that reported life on planet Earth, and I was asked to bring all the data regarding the ships that left, and the personnel records of all on board. Then they had me call you". "O.K., you know what's going on. Of course, you can help", the scientist answered. Then he said, "I'll tell you everything on the way. Let's go". The courier was happy to hear that, and they walked to the people lift. But back at the elder's office the counsel senior asked, "What about all these documents. Do we look them over ?", "No, we can throw them all away, except for the personnel file of the "Exploration-5" ship. I want to look at who the crew is on board that ship. Have you ever had one of those days when you want to boss someone around ?, Well, that's the way I felt today, so I sent him out to bring these files back here, just for the fun of it. I could have looked this up on my computer", the elder said, and they laughed for a while. Then they took off to eat something.

    Meanwhile, back on Planet Earth, Teresa's Mom came close to her and the animals, and she had food with her to give them. The creatures backed up a step or two, but "Teresa" looked at them, and gave them re-assurance that all would be "OK". "Eve" gave the creatures fruit, sweets, and other items to eat. They acted like your own pets, after they felt comfortable. Now "Jauslin" was still talking to the colony left on the other planet. Then "Jauslin" heard screaming, yelling, and then silence. "Jauslin" ran to "Eve", to tell her that something happened on "Colony-1". They both ran to the communication radio, and called them over, and over: "This is "Earth", to "Colony-1". Come in "Colony-1", Over", "Eve" said. But there was no answer, so they kept trying.

    Meanwhile, at the station area, the "Colony-1" group ran, and left the staging area where they were, and ran to the marker firing their weapons, at the path of the tiny little creatures. They were almost like ants, yet the size of rats. These creatures were meat eaters, and just moments before the attack at their base camp, they had eaten one of the crew member, who was there at "Colony-1". These creatures are a very large swarming group, about two or three million of them, running in all directions every two weeks, and eating everything, even the bones. Now these creatures were after the ( 19 ) crew members left. The crew members were still a ways from the marker. Once inside they could activate the shield, and they would be safe, but first they had to reach the marker, and the creatures were only about ( 50 ) yards behind them, and the marker was two hundred years in front of them. Then one of the female crew members fell down, but no one could stop help her. The creatures stopped over her for a few seconds taking bites, and then they continued after the group, less the ones who had stayed there to eat, and then they got closer. Then one of the MOG men stopped, and turned around for a couple of seconds, and ran to the left. The creatures hesitated for a second or two also, and they are all one unit creatures, and the food to the left was closer than the food straight ahead, they chased the MOG man to the left, buying time for the others. It was a brave thing he did. He'll be remembered as a "Hero". To the creatures, it was along the way, the pack caught the Mog man, and turned to the other group, and one crew member reached the marker.... He stood ( 10 ) feet from the door, and put his hand out to stop the people that were going too fast to make the door. He didn't want anyone to overshoot the door, as they were running in. Three were still running and were ( 35 ) feet away. "Come on", he yelled. One made it, while the second person fell, the third person also made it. "Let me in, let...." All of a sudden there was silence. The creatures had climbed, and covered the whole marker from top to bottom, trying to look for a way in. After lingering there for about two hours, they left just as quickly as they had come. The remaining crew members came out. They had lost ( 4 ) more crew members. Now there were ( 16 ). They held a meeting and the leader of the camp was "Mars". He had a talk with the group and said, "We just lost ( 4 ) members. We will have a memorial service for them, but before that, there's something more important than that. I know that most of us came on this Exploration program to explore the new galaxy, but we have to live on this planet for the next year. As we don't know for sure if our people will make it back to our home planet, we may be here longer. So I figured that since this is home, we should be fruitful and multiply. I suggest that everyone pair up, that's all. Now let's head back to camp, and bring everything back to the marker". So they left the marker pyramid and headed back to camp really slowly, just in case some of the creatures were still around. As they approached camp, they could hear "Eve" saying, "This is Earth to Colony-1, come in "Colony-1", over". They got closer to camp and heard again, "This is Earth to Colony 1, come in Colony 1, over". Mars picked up the handle and stood up the radio. He picked up the microphone, and answered, "This is Elder Mars to Earth, come in Earth, over". Then Eve answered: "This is "Earth". Is everything "OK" ?, We've been calling for over two hours. What's happened ?, over". "Mars" answered, "Eve", is that you ?, We had a problem with the small creatures here. A species that we had never seen here before, but I guess we don’t know this planet's cycle. We are sorry to report that we have lost four of our crew members. We are going to stay at this marker from now on, and we are also going to activate the moltebyte, so we can be detected if we have other space ships, from home passing by, so that it can be picked up on their sensors. I'll make sure that Captain "Zeus" receives a report of what happened, Over". "Oh, by the way, "Eve", we've decided to follow in your footsteps and have little ones too !, Wish us luck. Then "Eve" called "Teresa" to come closer to the staging area, just to be sure in case, they had any small creatures like those described by Mars. "Teresa" obeyed her mother and came really close, and all her little playmates followed as well. Then "Eve" radioed Captain "Zeus", and gave him a report of what happened to "Mars" on "Colony-1". The Captain answered, "It's good that they are "OK". After what happened, "Eve", if and when you make contact with "Colony-1", tell "Mars" we are going to stop by, to make sure that they don’t need anything. Also tell everyone there at camp, to get ready to move to the marker. It’s ( 97% ) complete, and we're almost finished with it. All we need are the last three floors, of about ( 20 ) more blocks. Yet it's still livable in the compartments below, and it'll be safer. That's all, "Zeus" Out, Over". "Eve" replied: "O.K., will do, Over". "Eve" and "Venus" then told everyone, that they were moving to the marker, and Eve also told Teresa to say goodbye to her friends, which "Teresa" did. So "Teresa's" little friends left, except for her rocks. Everyone gathered all of their belongings in camp and they started to walk toward the marker, which was about ( 1 1/4 ) miles outside of the jungle, in a sandy dirty area, with nothing around.

    Back on "Colony-1", Mars and his team were about to activate the moltebyte, that they put in a special case, which was made to hold it just to be detected from space millions of miles away. It can’t be used for any other thing. It will however, put out enough energy to power the marker indefinitely, almost like "Nuclear Power" but safer, and now it was active. At the same exact second that it was turned on, the mother ship detected the power source, and the on-duty navigator contacted the captain. "Sir, we have detected a moltebyte activation on "Colony-1". It went active a few seconds ago, Over". Captain "Zeus" replied, "That's good, it means they're set with indefinite power, and they'll be "OK", as long as the container that we made, doesn't have a power leakage in the first ten minutes. You should get another indication on them in about a minute. "Kappa man" is about to activate our moltebyte here on "Earth", Over". "Copy captain I'll let you know when I get a detection here, Over". Now Mars was calling Earth: "This is Mars calling Earth. Come in Planet Earth, Over". Again, "This is Mars calling Earth, come in Earth. "Eve", "Jauslin", are you there ? Over". "Jauslin" answered, "This is Earth, Go ahead, Mars. Over". "Mars" said: "Earth, we are now active with the moltebyte, and all systems show good. Also, we’ll be waiting for when they pass by on the way home, Over". "Jauslin" answered, "I've let the Captain know. By the way, everyone should be safe, now that you're in the marker. I hope nothing happens again like what happened earlier. If we can help, let us know so we can try to help. The captain said we were going to have the landing craft left here, so we can travel back and forth until they get back. Mars out, Over". So Mars colony, and Earth colony went back to work on the markers, and the surrounding area of the markers, to leave everything pleasant for those staying behind.

    But back on the Home Planet, the Elders and the Senior Scientist got back together to talk over the plans to leave in three weeks. The courier was there also to hear everything, and report back to his commander. Since construction started on the modified ship, the enemy spies working with the courier, to set up a couple of containers of highly toxic chemicals to release the gas, about ( 30 ) days into the journey, to fill the whole ship with the toxic gas, and then the ship would disappear forever. The agents will have completed their mission, and the enemy galaxy will then make an assault on the planet, and get rid of everyone from this planet. Soon they will take over the whole planet and rule two galaxies. The Elders asked the scientist if everyone was already selected for the trip, and if the ship was still on schedule to take off. The scientist responded that they could leave within a week, and all the people were set to be colonized on the new Planet Earth. So the Elder told him to be ready to leave by then, and the meeting ended. The week had passed, and everyone was on board and ready to take off. The Captain was on board and radioed to the command center, "This is settlement one standing by to take off, Over". Command Center answered, "You're on ( 60 ) to go and counting, Over". "That's a Roger we're standing by, Over". The Captain replied, "We show all systems right to go. You're ( 45 ) to Go and counting. Is your cargo secured ?, Over". The Captain replied: "We're good to Go. Our cargo is secured. All our animals are secured, and all passengers are strapped in and ready to go, Over" Command answered, "You're good to go ( 25 ) to Go, Fire up all engine igniters, set your "Zenitram Propulsion System" to "On" position, Over". The Captain replied, "Igniters are "On", Zenitram "On", and our new defense grid, it's "On". We're ready to Go. All systems show green on the board, Over". Command Center replied, "You're good to Go, 12 to Go, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, release brake, 3, 2,1, GO, GO, GO. Over". The Captain replied, "All systems are good. We are going, going, gone. We are now reaching full speed, and we're now in cruise mode. All systems show normal, ( 6 ) engines now in shut down mode. Now reaching ( 150,000 ) mikes, the ship is holding together.     Back on Earth everything is going according to plan. The water system is now running to the markers, the trees and plants are planted. All the corn, wheat and vegetables are now in the ground, and "Kappa man" is now ready to activate the moltebyte. The switch is turned on ( 20 ) seconds went by, and all systems showed normal. At that instance, the mother ship radioed the captain. The acting navigator said, "Captain, come in. Captain, come in". "Zeus" responded: "Go ahead, Over. We have detected a moltebyte activation, on the surface by your location, Over". "Zeus" answered: "That's good. It means "Kappa man" got the device activated, and we can get ready to go to the Home Planet. Make preparation to get underway in six hours, Over". He answered, "Copy that, Captain, making preparation to get underway. Wait a minute, wait a minute. Sir, I'm picking up a leakage in the device, but it won't last too long. The moltebyte is contracting at an extraordinary rate. It is trying to absorb the force field. It could last one hour, Over". "Zeus" answered: "I'm on my way to where "Kappa man" is, Out, Over". Captain "Zeus" started running into the marker, up and down the ramps and tunnels like a maze. As he was going up, "Kappa man" was on his way down through the stairway, ramps, and tunnels with the device in his hand, and half way they ran into each other. "Kappa man", the captain replied, "Captain, the moltebyte is unstable. We have to get rid of it far away, or there will be a "collapse", of everything around us for at least ten miles. We have one hour or less before the force field deteriorates". "Kappa man" said, and the captain asked, "Where do we get rid of it ?", "Kappa man" answered, "I don't know. I got it. How deep is the ocean water level at sea here ?, I would guess about five miles deep", the Captain told "Kappa man": "We'll go out about ( 800 ) miles and drop it in the ocean. That should keep it from hurting anything when it starts its pulling effect. Let's get to the landing craft". So they ran to the landing craft, and as they took off, "Kappa man" and "Zeus" started making calculations as to how far, when and where, to drop the moltebyte device. In their calculations they estimated that they had about ( 37 ) minutes, before it was time to make the drop, ( 33 ) minutes would be safer, since they don't want to be near when the force field collapses. At the same time, "Kappa man" and "Zeus" were seeing the rest of the planets as they traveled to the location. Captain "Zeus" said, "Kappa man, those islands would be great to colonize. When the colony comes back, put those coordinates into the computer. It shows good vegetation, good water, and a high soil content for growing food, also the elevation level above sea level is good, the water temperature is high at ( 87° ). But it's "O.K". considering all the volcanic activity that this planet has in cooling down". "Kappa man" answered, "That's a good idea to bring some of the crew members over to the island to stand watch, because if someone else comes back to Earth to pickup the colony, they might come to this location instead of the marker. The detection of the moltebyte would be extremely high because of the moltebyte being active and unstable. They'll come here first, check those islands back there and not find anyone there. Then they'll leave and even if we get the moltebyte active at the marker, the indication on their computer would pickup this one over the one at the marker. Sir, I think we should drop it here. The indicator shows that the field force could drop any time now". "Zeus" answered, "O.K., let's drop it here". So "Kappa man" put the landing craft on Hover-Mode. "Zeus" opened the door. He could see the water ( 10 ) feet below. It was a clear-type of water. You could see at least ( 30 ) feet down, and see the fish and other sea creatures passing by. Then "Zeus" asked "Kappa man", "We didn't make one calculation, do we have at least two minutes ?", "No we don't", "Kappa man" answered. However, the Captain was determined and asked, "Kappa man", what would this device do to the natural sea life that lives here ?", The Captain then went to the computer, and with the sensors scanned the lifeforms in the area for five miles around. He put the data of the moltebyte in an unstable mode, and the computer came up with an answer that the Captain didn't like, but it was too late to make another choice. The Captain said to "Kappa man", "Go ahead and drop it". "Kappa man" answered, "Sir, I don't like the expression on your face. What happened with the results ?", The captain answered, "It doesn't matter. Just drop the device. I'll tell you on the way back". So "Kappa man" did what the Captain said. He dropped the device, and went back to the helm, while the Captain secured the door. As he looked at the device sinking into the ocean, the door closed. The captain told "Kappa man", "Get us out of here". And they started to leave. "Kappa man" was looking at the indicator, and said, "Captain the device is ( .75 ) mikes down and it is going down faster as the force field dissolves". The indicator showed a "G" pull of "8" on the scale and rising, and he went to full speed to get away from there. Then there was a vibration on the landing craft, and he told the Captain to buckle up, as it would get bumpy. But in a second, due to the ocean water, the moltebyte jumped from "8" to "99", and the ship was yanked to a stop. Then it started to move back very quickly, not falling, just as if a gravitation pulse hit it. The equipment started to get sparks and shorted out, the computer was down, the walls of the landing craft flexing like they were there, Yet not there, fire erupted and smoke filled the landing craft. Then the small landing craft started going under water, and was now going as fast as the device, sinking to the bottom. Water started seeping through the cracks, and gaps of all edges. The Captain then called out to "Kappa man", "Kappa man", do you remember your physics on primary moltebyte theory ?, It becomes positive when unstable. When we are moving with our propulsion system then we too are positive. Therefore, stop and change, our propulsion system to make us negative". "Kappa man" answered, "But that will shoot us out at a tremendous speed. We won't have any control". The Captain answered, "Are we in control right now ?", "Kappa man" smiled and answered, "Killing the propulsion system, reversing polarity to negative, here we gooooo...", The landing craft was shot out of the ocean through the sky, and just passed a normal orbit in space. Now the landing craft started experiencing a loss of pressure due to the buckling of the walls and doors. "Kappa man" turned on the propulsion system, and set the pressure above its normal range of ( 100 ). He set it at ( 130 ), which could cause the landing craft to experience problems. As they started back down to Earth, the windows began to crack, so "Kappa man" started to go back up out of the atmosphere, but this caused them to crack more. They could blow out at any second, so "Kappa man" told the Captain, "Sir, this doesn't look good, could you please step on the phase pad, so I can Zapp you to the mother ship, just in case something goes wrong". The Captain looked at "Kappa man", smiled, and said: "You can't get rid of me that easily. We’ve been through worse than this". "Kappa man" answered, "Yes we have. Tell me, Captain, all these problems we're going through, didn't anyone ever test these vehicles under these conditions before, or did they make them just to make a profit ?", The Captain answered, "It's all about profit. But now that you know about the problems we faced, you can get them fixed, and you can make a profit". "Kappa man" nodded, and set the landing craft to rendezvous with the mother ship, and he stopped the cracks on the windows, by lowering the pressure by ( .5 ) every ( 10 ) mikes. It was now at ( 129.5 ) psi, then at ( 129 ) psi, then ( 128.5 ) psi, etc., etc. By the time they reached the mother ship, it was at ( 102.5 ) psi, and then it started to go up to ( 103 ) psi and ( 104 ) psi. just to keep the landing craft together. They arrived at the mother ship and landed. The Captain told the crew to get ( Number 3 ) landing craft ready to go to the surface, and start repairs upon landing with the new modification, that Kappa man has to improve the landing craft. "Kappa man" laughed thinking that the Captain was joking. The Captain stopped at the door, turned around, and then looked at "Kappa man" and said, "I'm serious. You can start making the modifications". Then the Captain turned around and started laughing as he walked away. "Kappa man" talked to the repair crew, about what the landing craft needed in order to be more effective in certain conditions. "Kappa man" then went back on board the landing craft, and he downloaded all the data until the landing, including the data that the Captain did just before dropping the moltebyte device. So "Kappa man" went to the ship's computer to see what the Captain saw. As he looked at the results, he saw everything that the Captain did. So he went to the Captain's mess hall where he was eating, and "Kappa man" said: "Captain, it's not your fault for what is going to happen in that area of the ocean. We didn't know that the device was going to go unstable". The Captain answered, "Yes I know, "Kappa man". But by our being here, we're changing the DNA structure of the ocean creatures with that device. These creatures have had no change in over one million years. Now we do this, and Look at what happened, you have to ask yourself, are we as a people going to destroy or change, everything we touch, just like back on Our Home Planet".
