In Chile the age of consent is 12 years old. In many countries it varies in ages, but we noticed that all ( "N.A.T.O" pact) countries, they were 18 years old for age of consent. You would figure that, you would want large population growth always, to keep up with other countries like ("China 2.7 billion people"), ("India 1.6 billion people"), and others with large populations. What happens if you have to fight these people, and they're really spread out.

What if a virus hits us ?, and more then half of our population dies, who will fill in the very large gap. Now you know that you people, depend on all this New Modern Stuff. And suddenly there's no one there, to get things done really quickly. Some day we will be fighting a large battle, with millions of people on both sides, like "North Korea". And we will lose millions of people, what then.

Stop and think, or do research. The Age of Consent didn't start going up until the year 1820. It went from 12 years old to 14 years old, then it just kept going up. Now everything is "Illegal".....

Where the symbols * or ? are used, or more then one age is given, information is incomplete or unavailable The Supreme Court in the USA has recently struck down sodomy laws which outlawed consensual, same-sex adult sexual activity. In some states, it is unclear how the decision will be applied to their laws. The US Gay and Lesbian National Hotline recommend that if you are unsure about the age of consent in your state, it would be advisable to seek clarification from your state government.

Definitions:

Law Invalidated means that the legislation was struck down in court and that the law is 'null and void'. It does not mean that the law has been removed. Law Repealed means that the law was removed and changed Not defined means that there are no laws defining the age of consent for this type of sexual behaviour. # The average age of consent does not include countries where it is illegal.
